Are you working for God?

Are you going through trials and struggles at work? Does it seem that no matter what you do, you just cannot get ahead? You are not alone. Even more important, you are really NOT alone. God is there, in the midst of what seems to be an endless struggle in today’s world: life and work, work and life. There’s only one question to ask yourself –are you working for man or for God?

The one who works for man will quickly find that efforts and results are limited. That is when you see your life and work at a stand-still. The one who works wholeheartedly for God will see advancement, blessing, and favor in their lives. How does this affect you, your life, your work, and your struggle to make ends meet? Those who are working for God instead of man are in the center of His will. The results of your work will be His favor, His blessings.

The Bible commands, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men…” (Colossians 3:23). When you do, you will see amazing things come to pass. Work today for the One who created you. He created you for good, not for complacency. Claim your place in His kingdom. Claim your blessings as a child of God. Work with all your heart, in all things, to God’s glory. You will be amazed at what happens in your life when you do!

Are you feeling discouraged?

Do you feel that life is so tough? That things are just not going your way? Other people always get the breaks, but never YOU? As a child of God, you have an advantage over everyone else in the world...you have His love, mercy, and grace. When you accepted Jesus Christ, you also accepted God's favor. You have favor and blessings that God is waiting to pour into your life. So why are you not seeing this favor? Do you have unconfessed sin? Are you in a close relationship with God? Are you putting your full trust in God for all things? God doesn't want to be there for only the big problems. Call on Him for everything. Ask for His blessings when you are buying groceries, going to work, cleaning your house, thinking of changing jobs ...you get the idea. God wants to be a part of EVERY area of your life.
